Types of Aisles
Narrow Aisle and Wide Aisle lift trucks are classed due to the types of aisles they have been designed to operate in. These machines are able to turn in an aisle, while Very Narrow Aisle trucks actually don't turn within the aisle. There are some aisle widths to consider with different models.
Very Narrow Aisle or VNA trucks operate in less than 6 feet places and often utilize particular guidance systems such as wire, optical or rail systems in order to travel within the aisles. Stand-Up Ergonomics
The "Ergomat" padding on stand-up units offer padding on a sloped floorboard. These features are designed to reduce operator exhaustion by absorbing vibration.
